Working in PR brings with it a
number of challenges but we all have a little metaphorical 'trophy
cabinet' tucked away where we store our best bits. Whether it's a
client nailing a prime time interview on BBC news or getting one of
our small start-ups quoted in a national story, we still get a
thrill of excitement!
One of the best bits of PR though is when clients share that buzz
with us.
We've been working with the UK's recruitment body, the Recruitment & Employment
Confederation for six years now and the results get
bigger and better every year.
Here's what their press manager had to say about our work in
2010:
"2010 - a record year for REC in the
media"
As a not-for-profit trade association working in the jobs space,
you might expect them to have one or two things to say about
employment over the last year but as their PR manager says, media
has proved to be one of the most effective channels for delivering
key messages on
issues like youth employment and
public sector jobs to government, employers and
jobseekers.
No doubt we'll have even more to say
in 2011!
